Slip End is a small parish of around 1500 people just south of Luton, and includes the outlying hamlets of Woodside, Aley Green and Pepperstock.
Most of the village activity centres around the village hall, village school and church. Slip End has recently become a parish in its own right (previously
joined with Caddington).
