Streatley“s 14th century parish church, with its early wall painting of St Catherine, was at one time almost a ruin but was lovingly restored during the 1950s by the president of the Royal Academy, Professor Sir Albert Richardson.
The village is close to three major viewpoints - Sharpenhoe Clappers owned by the National Trust, Warden Hills and Galley Hill. South Beds Golf Club course runs along the base of Warden Hills.
