The most southerly village in Bedfordshire, Studham sits at the top of Dunstable Downs in attractive wooded countryside.
Grouped around crossroads, houses overlook a large common on the edge of which stands the village war memorial in the form of a clock tower.
The parish church is 13th century in origin with a fine interior, which includes an earlier Norman font decorated with dragons and surrounded by medieval floor tiles.
In the South Chapel there is a 17th century communion table.
One of the first windmills in the country is reputed to have been built in Studham, which was also one of the first villages in the area to use straw-plait for hats.
