Set around the village green and along a wide grass-verged street in Great Milton are many 16th and 17th century houses including the Bull Inn, built in 1684. Notable houses include the Priory, the Great House, Romeyn´s court, Monkery Farm and the Manor House (dating from the 17th century which is now the famous restaurant and hotel Le Manoir aux Quat´Saisons.
